A lot of my blog is going to be about unpacking this incredibly loaded statement, and what it means in 2009. This means I will be discussing abortion rights, adoption, TANF/WIC, Planned Parenthood, homophobia, Abstinence-Only Education, the Congressional budget, gay/lesbian/transgender rights, violence against women, racism, and anything and everything in between.

I recognize that I am hitting on a lot of very controversial topics about which people hold deep-seated views and values. I have no intention of shutting down any and all discussion that comes up in the comments section, but I will not tolerate abusive language, spamming, or trolling. I do, however, have a good sense of humor. The lesson here is act like an adult or step away from the intertubes.
